November 6, 2023Blue Willow: The Free Midjourney Alternative

There is new AI graphic design and art software being developed daily. It’s almost impossible to keep up with these new tools, let alone try them all! Also, some of these AI tools such as Midjourney cost money to use. However, there is a free text-to-image AI art generator that is worth trying. It’s called Blue Willow, and it’s the free Midjourney Alternative.
What’s Blue Willow?
Blue Willow is a text-to-image AI art generator. This AI tool was created by Ritankar Das. Also, Blue Willow is by LimeWire (Yes, that LimeWire for all the Millennials who know the name.). Blue Willow can create visuals logos, photos, and more simply by using a prompt. The interface is very user friendly which means you don’t have to have any AI experience to use it.

Who Should Use Blue Willow?
Whether you’re a graphic designer, artist, blogger, content creator, or business, Blue Willow is for you. Use it to help you generate ideas for your projects. It can help businesses and graphic designers create logos. Artists can use Blue Willow to get ideas for digital artwork. In addition, bloggers and content creators can use it to generate photos for their websites and content.
How to Use Blue Willow?
Blue Willow is very easy to use. All you need is your imagination, and you simply type what it is you want to see into the Prompt. Then, you click Generate Image. Note, in order to get the best accurate and realistic visuals, you have to make your prompts more descriptive.

For example, I typed a very simple prompt “a black girl in the woods”, and here is what Blue Willow generated. It successfully creates a black girl, and her surroundings are in the woods.

I also typed a prompt with more details to it such as “old blue Mustang car burning in the middle of the street with a dystopian city setting”. This is the image it generated from the prompt. The image has an old blue Mustang in it. The car is in the middle of the street. And, if you look at the setting of the image, it does have somewhat of a dystopian look to it. However, I typed that I wanted the car burning, and it gave me blue smoke instead of the actual color of smoke. Plus, the car itself isn’t actually burning. Still, the image looks really good.

How Much Does Blue Willow Cost?
As with many AI tools, Blue Willow can be used for free. They also have a reasonable subscription plan (as low as $9.99/month) that offers more features.
Conclusion
So, what are you waiting for?! Try Blue Willow the free Midjourney alternative today, and let your imagination run wild!
