Learn how to place an image inside of text using Affinity Designer. This tutorial shows you how to do this in 5 easy steps! You could also do this with Affinity Photo, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop. Before getting started, select an image you want to use for the tutorial. You can go to Pexels to download some free images.
First, go to File > New to create a new document. The size of the document isn’t important. You can make it for web or for print.
Next, grab the Artistic Text Tool from the Tools Panel and type your text. Go to the Context Toolbar to choose the font you want to use and the font size.
Grab the Place Image Tool from the Tools Panel. Find the image you downloaded and select Open. Hold Shift and drag your image so that it covers the text.
In the Layers Panel, select the image and drag it inside of the text layer.
Then, rearrange the image inside of the text to fit your design.
Congratulations! This tutorial is complete!
